Former Rugby Player now TV Personality/Actor/DJ.......

Martin Offiah first started playing Rugby Union at club level for Rosslyn Park where he was spotted by Widnes coach Doug Laughton and given the opportunity to play rugby League in the 1987/88 season..

In 1992 he joined Wigan for a fee of £440,000 scoring 30 tries in just 15 games.  He made 158 appearances for Wigan and went on to play for London Broncos between 1996 and 1999, Salford in 2000 and London Wasps in 2001/2001 and has also represented England and Great Britian on numerous occassions.

In 1997 he received his M.B.E. for services to rugby for which he is incredibly proud.

Over a decade ago now he also published his autobiography - about 5 years before he retired from professional rugby

Since retiring he has been a regular on sporting and quiz shows and has even appeared in ' Emmerdale' and 'Hollyoaks' and in the play 'Mothers Day' at the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith.  For all he received very good reviews. 

He was also a contestant on the first series of BBC1's Saturday Night Primetime show 'Strictly Come Dancing' where he got down to the final four celebrities and has hosted 'Strictly African Dancing' with Natasha Kaplinski on BBC1.

In 2008 he returned to the ballroom starring in the 'Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour'.

Martin has a big personality and a great sense of humour - which has helped carry him into a host of famous TV shows such as 'Stars In Your Eye's,' The Weakest Link' (which he won),' Mastermind' (which he didn't win !!) 'Celebrity Total Wipeout' and 'Premier League AllStars' to name but a few.

He is a rugby consultant and helps shape the careers of talented emerging ruby players in league and union - which keeps very busy but still has time for his huge passion for house music and this, along with a determination to succeed, has developed him into a skilled and natural mixer.  His style of uplifting sexy electro house and high energy behind the decks delivers a fantastic atmosphere on the dance floor.

Martin is amazingly versatile and puts 110% into everything he does - but best of all - he is a nice guy !
