Joseph Washbourn is a British singer/songwriter.
 
He has sold over 2 million records with his band Toploader and has performed in front of thousands touring with the likes of Robbie Williams, Paul Weller and Bon Jovi.  
 
Toploader experienced global success in the early noughties with 3 times Platinum selling album Onka’s Big Moka and a string of top ten hits including the critically acclaimed ‘Achilles Heel’ and worldwide smash ‘Dancing In The Moonlight’.
 
Toploader took a break in 2004 and Joseph moved to LA where he spent two years writing for major Hollywood film projects including ‘The Skeleton Key’ starring Kate Hudson.
 
2010 saw Toploader reunite and Joseph write and co-produce their new album ‘Only Human’. The recent release in 2011 has been followed by a string of festival appearances and live dates in the UK, Europe and the Middle East catapulting Joseph and the band back into the live performance circuit.
 
During this time Joseph successfully reached the semi finals of ITV1’s Popstar to Operastar and was one of the most featured contestants across the tabloid media.
 
In 2012 Toploader return to the International Live Circuit to continue to promote their new album, taking in a number of European Festivals and live dates.
 
Joseph is currently writing and working on new projects.
