Emma Jones

Emma is from a wealthy family and has led a jet-set life style even before she hit the tabloids. "My dad used to pick me up from school in a Ferrari which was really embarrassing", she laughs, shyly ducking her head. She told us she was educated at a convent school, and then went on to do a business degree.

Despite being business minded like her mum and dad, what she's always wanted to do is act.

She went to Italia Conti, and has also done acting courses at RADA. When we asked Emma if she would also be open to the idea of TV presenting she says she likes that idea, and has been looking into some possible offers. She says she has a strong personality and doesn't need to hide behind a character. "I want to get out there and project myself. I have the ability, drive and strength of character to do that". Although Emma has always had an interest in moving into the spotlight,

It began in a way along to support a friend and ending up getting the gig yourself. She went to a Blind Date audition, to give her friend some moral support. She ended up being asked to audition herself. As fate would have it, she was picked to go on the show, and then got picked again, by the man choosing one of the 'three lovely ladies'! The reason why it caught the media's attention was that her date was a bit of a Prince William look-alike, Emma was an upper-class girl, and they (conveniently) got sent on a date to Edinburgh (near where the real Prince William studied). Their pairing fired something in the media's imagination, and even though they didn't find love on the date, and Cilla didn't get to buy a new hat, it catapulted Emma into the spotlight and essentially launched her career.

"After Blind Date things just went a bit mad. There was a bit of a media frenzy. She wasn't expecting any of it. Emma went on 'Richard and Judy' to talk about being a single girl in London. For the record, and as you can probably tell by our pictures, Emma is tabloid gold - a very pretty girl, with long blonde hair, gorgeous curves and gorgeous clothes.

After Blind Date, The Star newspaper sent her out and about with various A-List celebrities to show she wasn't lonely after her “Blind Date” didn't work out. Since then, she has appointed Celeb Agents to deal with the attention, and is now officially 'on the map' and is pictured at all the most glamorous parties in town.

The chances are, you will be seeing a lot more of Emma Jones, and we don't just mean at parties. She is career-minded and ambitious and has already co-produced a film "This is Cannes", which showed in Cannes last year. She is currently in meetings virtually daily discussing future plans that vary from writing a showbiz column to recently doing a screen test for a film, which went very well.
