Chris Kamara TV Sports PresenterChris who was a professional footballer had 733 appearances 84 goals Clubs: Bradford Sheffield Utd Middlesborough Luton Leeds Stoke Swindon Brentford Portsmouth.
A former “hard man” defender / midfielder, Kamara made 11 team moves during his career as a player, including being part of the 1992 Championship-winning Leeds squad under Howard Wilkinson. Chris can also be seen every Saturday morning on Soccer AM where he links live to the stadium he reports from on Soccer Saturday. He began commentating in 1996 while he was still a manager, working for Sky Sports and YTV. He has also commentated for Radio 5. Chris's former clubs are listed as follows:-
Stoke City, Bradford City, Middlesbrough, Sheffield United, Luton Town, Leeds United, Stoke City, Swindon Town, Brentford, Portsmouth, Swindon Town, Portsmouth. Once retired from playing with his last team, Bradford City, he decided to make the switch to the role of Team Manager with the Bantams. It was during his two-year management stint that the team was promoted into the First Division for 1995/96 and it was Chris who assembled most of the team that moved up again, into the Premiership.
