Ex professional British Boxer, Sporting Performance Coach and Sports therapist, Broadcaster and Photographer.
With more than a decade's experience as a professional athlete in some of the world's toughest sports, Cathy now uses her expertise to develop her clients' mental and physical strength, and to provide much sought-after comment to international press and media outlets.
Cathy has been described as 'the soul trainer' as she is not only concerned with her clients physical well being but also more importantly their mental well being, through training and therapy.
Fighting - Cathy spent 1 years at the top of her field in arguably the most gruelling and emanding sport there is. During her professional career she was ranked world No. 3 in the flyweight division and held European and English titles. Previously she spent six years competing as a kickboxer.
Cathy was in the vanguard of women's boxing and has worked with passion and determination outside the ring to promote the sport and make it more acceptable for females to fight within the heavily male-dominated environment. she retired in 2007 due to injury.
Training - since retiring from professional competition, Cathy has developed a career as an elite coach. She specialises in boxing and kick boxing, strength and conditioning and sports psychology.
Cathy still pushes herself through gruelling feats of physcial endurance. She has sailed across the atlantic in an attempt to break the World Record and ran 120 km over 3 days in Verdon Canyon, France.
Media - Cathy writes regular columns for Men's Heath and Women's Health Magazine and makes regular television appearances.
Charity - Cathy is an ambassador to Refuge charity and works regularly with them on campaigns and with public speaking.
