Roger's book 'Wild About Herbs' was published by Readers Digest Inc in the USA to accompany Roger's PBS TV Programme of the same name.
[PBS retail two videos, “Wild About Herbs” and “Wild About Herbs at Home” featuring Roger]. Roger also travelled across the US on a tour appearing live on TV stations to promote the “Wild About Herbs” programme. PBS described "Wild About Herbs" as 'compelling' and Roger as 'naturalist, biologist and gifted presenter.' In the UK Roger has recently featured on TV programmes such as Carlton’s “Taste Today” where he discussed medicinal herbs with Anthea Turner and Mark Curry, (plus live phone-in), also with Gloria Hunniford on her Channel 5 “Open House” programme. On the “Good Food Live” programme on the UK Food Network Roger demonstrated the medicinal uses of herbs, and herbal essential oils in aromatherapy massage. In HTV’s popular home make-over series “House to House” Roger demonstrated the use of medicinal herbs and how to plant a herb garden. Fellow herbalist Jekka McVicar met up with Roger at his former watermill home where Roger grows over 200 types of herb, both cultivated and wild, where they recorded a programme on the Borage family of herbs, for the BBC Radio 4 series “Herbs – Pure and Simple.” Roger frequently features wild herbs and their uses in his TV series such as Anglia TV’s “Going Wild” and BBC TV’s “The Mill’s Life”, “Country File” etc. Roger has written extensively about wild plants, and lectured on plant identification and uses for over 25 years. Roger Tabor is Scientific Advisor and former Chairman of The Herb Society, (whose national HQ is now at Sulgrave Manor, ancestral home of the Washington family). Roger designed the Herb Society's National Herb Garden at Sulgrave Manor.
