Cat & Dog Books:

Roger's newest book "100 Ways to Understand Your Dog", is being published in October 2006 by David & Charles Ltd, and for F & W Publications in the US. It is the companion title to Roger's "100 Ways to Understand Your Cat".

‘Roger Tabor’s Cat Behaviour’ was published in the UK by David and Charles and in North America by Reader’s Digest. His book ‘Cats; the Rise of the Cat’ (BBC Books) was a best seller in the UK and had Dutch, German and Japanese editions. His book ‘Understanding Cats’ became a Reader’s Digest best-seller in the USA, and after it’s success as a hardback in the UK it was issued as a softback, and in France as a paperback.

His first cat book ‘The Wildlife of the Domestic Cat’ has been recognised by Britain’s leading cat charity, Cat’s Protection as “the standard work on the feral cat” and by Daphne Negus in the US as “the most informative book ever written about how cats have behaved since time immemorial, and the uncompromising lives they lead in our modern urban society” and by Dr Desmond Morris as “one of the modern classics of feline literature. Rogers book "All About Herbs" has now been published in paperback form as "HERBS" in 2005 by Frances Lincoln Ltd. The book was published in the USA by Reader Digest Inc and called "Wild ABout Herbs" to accompany Roger Tabor's PBS TV programme also called "Wild About Herbs."

Wildlife Books:

Roger Tabor has written a series of children’s wildlife books ‘How to be an Otter’, ‘How to be a Squirrel’, ‘How to be a Deer’ and ‘How to be a Fox’, that were published in the UK by Heinemann, and in the USA by Ideals, and by various publishers in Canada, Mexico, France, Italy, Germany, Norway, Denmark and China. He was Editor of ‘Motorways and the Biologist’.

Writer – Magazines/Newspapers:

Roger Tabor is a regular columnist, features editor and was Editor of ‘Country-side’ magazine. He writes a regular page called ‘Tabor’s Country’ for the East Anglian Daily Times, and was a regular columnist in BBC Wildlife Magazine, Cat World, The Cat, Essex Chronicle and Newsman Herald.
